12.GUIDE FOR RECEIVER UPGRADE
12.1 Receiver Upgrade
1). Connect receiver to your PC with RS232C cable. A serial cable is used to connect
the PC and the RS232 port of the receiver. Before connecting make sure that the
cable is working.
2). Use " Add file " button for browsing upgrade file, then click " Start " button to start a
upgrade session.
3). COM Upgrader automatically recognizes how many COM ports are available for
communication.
Check the check box in the " Tick " column, and the corresponding COM port is selected for futher operation. Uncheck means not.
4). Turn on the receiver to start upgrade now.

12.2 Read User Data
1). Connect receiver to your PC with RS232C cable. A serial cable is used to connect
the PC and the RS232 port of the receiver. Before connecting make sure that the
cable is working.
2). Turn on the receiver.
3). Click the “
Read”to start read the data.
This receiver data contains all the channels and transponders that are tuned by the
receiver .
NOTE: The “
read”function needs the suppor by the receiver software.
